Thank you so much for finally holding Kraus accountable. Even though her Instagram looks like people are doing nothing but heaping praise on her, that can’t be further from the truth!! If u leave her a comment questioning anything she says or does, your comment is deleted & u are instantly blocked!! She will leave a negative comment up every so often, just so she can crudely attack the person. One person said to her that her content isn’t unbiased & Jessica responded with a “F*ck You”!!! So much for that free speech she’s always fighting for!!🙄🙄🙄

I have a feeling Jessica is more passionate about the partying & good times than she is about creating any kind of real “journalism”.

However, you can’t deny her success. Just hope her liver can keep up with her!! 😵‍💫

Yeah I def feel like she’s there for the vibes and not for the journalism. It boggles my mind every time someone shares her stuff as real journalism, and it’s scary to me that she’s legitimately positioning herself to launch an independent news org. But she represents a bigger problem, which is the lack of reliable news sources available today, and the public’s pessimism about the news orgs we have.

Great piece! Really thought provoking as we navigate the ethics of journalism, especially the rise of independent journalism, as we are seeing today.

This is fascinating! I actually followed her in the home-designish years and did not know of this turn. I’m far from a journalist - I’m a brand person - but this take is really good to know. Thanks for sharing and for your thorough piece.

I love this article. I enjoyed Jessica’s content when she wasn’t pretending to be a journalist. She was interesting and creative. Then she started to shift. Constantly claiming she is unbiased and telling all side of an issue yet only expressing one point of view. I assume the one most of her followers approved of. Covid vaccines are a great example of that. She also started to display an incredibly misogynistic point of view, subtly through her stories. Everything is the female’s fault right? Well according to her it is. I dropped off her feed a while back. The Epstein coverage put me over the edge. She never shared real facts about sex trafficking when she had an opportunity to educate the public on the topic. Thank you for this article. She needs to be exposed.

Oh man. I had friends recommending her content as unbiased election coverage and that's when I started tuning in. It took about 24 hours for me to realize that she was... something else. And of course her brand seems to be in melt-down right now with writers quitting etc.

I also wrote a little about here in this article (Related to the Epstein file release and her coverage of the trial): https://open.substack.com/pub/natalieabruzon/p/the-press-is-dead-long-live-the-king?r=fwzqm&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false

I’m not even that smart and I can see right through her. She’s no different than the most biased of MSM sources. She never covers different angles of a story. She is very similar to Trump in her approach to “journalism.” It surprises me how many women support her. People are attracted to confidence. It doesn’t matter what the person is saying. If they come off as confident, cool, and loud, people line up.

That’s very cute! You just have to sound like you know what you’re talking about and people don’t bother to backtrack you. I would say you’re smarter than about 2 million people 😆

Why is this comment so full of typos lol I meant to say that’s very TRUE and people don’t bother to FACT CHECK you 😆

Thanks very much for this account. I’m only now going down the Jennifer Reed Kraus, and you summed her up well.
